Amanda Makwarimba known as Amanda Mak is a singer/ songwriter and guitarist. Her music journey began after joining the choir in high school, subsequently taking vocal and piano lessons. Amanda Mak would be found always in the music room anytime she had a free period from class. With help from producer Ebenezer Anesu Maxwell of e.a Records, the duo connected and started working on music whilst she was pursuing a Bsc in Chemistry, which she was awarded in 2021. Considering the Covid pandemic Amanda Mak realized that life was too short to not pursue all your passions, so she reconnected again with e.a Records in Johannesburg and began working on music together. Amanda Mak’s musical style regarding genre and song writing has been described as a blend of pop, soul, dance, and alternative R&B.
