é.a Records is a record label and production company founded in 2016 by Ebenezer Anesu Maxwell.

We concentrate on the growth and cultivation of both artists and the industry; with the company specializing in high-value music production and recording, high quality live mixing, as well as video editing for broadcast and anything else that requires a little bit of music to spice things up, such as film scoring and jingles.

Based in South Africa, engineer and producer Ebenezer Maxwell is best known as Maxonproduction and specializes in pop music. Maxonproduction produced SAMA nominated ‘Piece of Heaven‘ by Rowlene, and has co-produced the latest EP for Grammy award winning songwriter Manana.
Maxonproduction’s first job in the industry was working for Universal Music South Africa. He started there as an intern in the Publishing department and moved into the studio engineer role a year later. He has worked with the likes of Mafikizolo, Zakes Bantwini and Caiphus Semenya, and has been Nasty C’s live engineer for the past 4 years. Maxonproduction has recently taken on the role of recording engineer for Tyla, working with Tricky Stewart (Beyoncé’s music producer) and Theron Thomas (songwriter for Rihanna, Ciara, Chloe, Lizzo and Justin Bieber) which he cites as an unforgettable experience.
A pioneer who fuses different genres to produce something unique, Maxonproduction is a sought after music guru. He is currently the head of ACP Studios. Having garnered a vast knowledge of the industry Maxonproduction has been helping other record labels develop new artists. He is also the head of his own label, é.a Records, where he has been developing singer-songwriter Amanda Mak and has done the A&R, engineering and production for all her songs.
